Clark Jeary residents bundled up on a cool day in August to enjoy a pontoon ride and fishing at Lake Wanahoo in Wahoo, Nebraska. Jackets and blankets added warmth but the great fishing kept everyone moving. Residents caught some large and beautifully colored bluegill before finishing the excursion with a nice-sized crappie. David Ruder, Chief Development Officer provided information and history about the creation and maintenance of the man-made lake. A large group of white pelicans gathered nearby the fishing spot, and a blue heron gracefully flew by, adding to the beauty of the scenery, despite the chilly breeze. Everyone enjoyed the outing and was grateful for the peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and delightful company.
