Fogelstrom Legacy Visits Immanuel Courtyard

Immanuel Courtyard received a special surprise during Founder's Week on Wednesday, October 10th.

Mark Grorud, Immanuel's Vision Foundation Director, spoke to a full chapel about the importance of the "begat" and how we all leave a legacy for future generations, even in the smallest of actions.

After an inspirational sermon, Mark introduced Houston Fogelstrom, great-great grandson of Immanuel's founder.  Houston is the quarterback of Omaha North High School, currently undefeated and ranked number one in the state. He shared an encouraging speech about the influence of his great-great grandfather and what actions he plans on making to leave a legacy of his own.

We are so thankful for the impact the Fogelstrom family has had in the Omaha community. Because of the actions made by a man 130 years ago, Immanuel grew into the thriving organization it is today!
