Residents Make Use of The Arboretum's Woodshop

Residents Howard and Dolan of The Arboretum in Omaha, Nebraska make use of the woodworking shop in their community’s basement. From constructing wooden projects to setting up an indoor greenhouse in the northwest corner of the shop, these two residents pursue their hobbies to the fullest.

Howard has a special knack for building wooden frames. His hobby for puzzle-making is well-displayed by constructing a frame for each finished puzzle, then hanging them up in the hallway outside of the shop.

Dolan is known for his green thumb. Tending to plants such as parsley and tomatoes, he has created a makeshift greenhouse in the corner of the woodshop. During the warmer months he relocates outdoors and harvests an array of herbs and vegetables.
